My Favourite Walks
Orrest Head ⭐ Linda's Favourite
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 45–60 minutes
Distance from Adam Place: 20-minute walk
If I could only recommend one walk, it would be Orrest Head.
The climb is gentle and suitable for most people, and the views over Windermere are simply spectacular. It's also where Alfred Wainwright famously fell in love with the Lake District.
